Account Information

How do I reset my account?

You can reset the password on your account at anytime by hitting the “I forgot my password” link on the sign-in page for your account. We will send you an email shortly with a link to update the password on your account.

How do I update the shipping address on my subscription?

To update your address, go the “My Account” page and click on the “Edit Information” button. Please update your shipping address at least one business day before your shipment to ensure that we send your box to the correct address!


Your Subscription

 

When is the ship date of my next box?

Your credit card will be charged on the first of the month and your box will ship on the second of each month. Depending on your shipping speed and weather conditions, you should receive your box within a week. If you have signed up for a subscription for the first time, you will be shipped a Welcome Box within three business days of your order. Please note that if you subscribe after the 25th of the month, you will not be sent the next month's box on the second. Your Welcome Box will be shipped within 3 days and then your second box will be shipped 4 weeks later. However, if you subscribe before or on the 25th of the month, you will be sent a Welcome Box immediately and the next month's box on the 2nd. For example, if you subscribe for the first time on July 24th, you will be sent a Welcome Box on July 27th and the August box on August 2nd. (Yes, your credit card would be charged again on August first).  

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account page and clicking the “Cancel My Subscription” button. After completing a short questionnaire, your subscription will be cancelled. Please note that you must cancel your subscription at least two business days before your next shipment in order to avoid being charged. If you are having any difficulties cancelling your subscription, please contact us at hello@sumboxes.com.

When does my subscription renew?

All subscriptions auto-renew, so if you are enjoying your monthly boxes you don’t need to do anything! You are also able to change your subscription to a different plan, pause your subscription, or cancel your subscription by logging into your account and adjusting the settings.

What will I receive in my box each month?

Each of our subscription boxes is designed especially for you by our in-house education experts. Each box will contain 6 – 12 items, including two sets of Lesson Notes, two complete math activities, and two custom storage bags for all of the game pieces. The exact contents will change each month to ensure that you continue to receive exciting new products and ideas!

Can I pause my subscription for a month?

Yes, you can pause your subscription for a month. On the My Account page, click the “Pause My Subscription” button and your will not receive the next month’s box in your subscription. You will remain enrolled and will receive your next box the following month.


Online Store

Can I order individual items?

Yes! You can purchase any of our items individually from our online store. Please visit our online store to see our available products. If you are interested in placing a bulk order of any of these items, please reach out to our team at hello@sumboxes.com.

I want a box from a previous month that a friend received? Can I order that box?

Yes! We have a limited supply of previous month’s boxes that can be purchased through our online store. Please visit our online store to see all of the previous boxes that we still have in stock.

Can I refer a friend?

Yes, we would love for you to share us with your friends! Make sure that any friends use your referral code when signing up for a Sumboxes subscription plan and you will get $5 off your next order!

Can I purchase a box for someone as a gift? What are the best gift options?

Yes! All of our boxes and individual items are great gifts for any teacher or child in your life. We highly recommend our subscriptions as class gifts for a favorite teacher or as a way to surprise a friend or family member with a unique and thoughtful present. Our variety of hand-picked items will inspire them to explore math with their child(ren) for months to come!

What shipping carrier do you use? Do you offer tracking on packages?

All of our packages are currently sent through the US Postal Service. You can find your tracking information on the Order History page of your account.

Do you accept payments from school districts?

Yes, we do. If your school district can pay with a credit card, please feel free to order directly through our website. If your school district needs to pay through a purchase order, please reach out to our team to help you set up that payment. We only accept purchase order payments for pre-paid subscriptions or online store orders.
