TARGET PRACTICE is a fun-filled activity that allows children to use the order of operations in order to create and evaluate numerical expressions.
At the beginning of each turn, teams turn over 1 target number and six cards from the (0-10) deck. Teams use the six cards to build as many equations as possible that are equal to the target number. Teams record all of the equations they can use on their record sheet before moving onto the next target number.
This is a great game to build children's confidence in the order of operations and for students to use their creativity in building equations.
